I must be impatient too, been waiting 4 weeks now

Just heard from Jose, apparently turbo is with Oz Customs so just need to wait some more

Probably got here 3.5 weeks ago and someone in Australia Post has been sitting at their desk spinning the turbines for ****s and giggles for 3 weeks

Hi All....

Here is a bit of how shipping works overhere, so that you can understand some delays.

I wont go direct to one of the big courier, like UPS, DHL, etc because price is almost double.

So, I get to the state courier ( CTT.PT) wich receives the package. After that, state courier goes to the market to get the best deal from international courier companies and only when they get best quote the deal is closed.

This is an example of a turbo shipped to Australia. I've delivered the turbo to CTT at 30/06 . Only at 08/7 they booked the international Courier and that's when they change the status to accepted. Next day it has leaved the country and that its the final information about tracking... next tracking info will be when the turbo is delivered.

This is the way I can get best price for shipping costs. 3 to 4 weeks is the maximum time they claim the package to be delivered. When sending NNN ecu, I've experienced both the good (1,5 weeks) and the bad (4,5 weeks)

I am getting ready to order one of these turbos but I also want a bigger intercooler.

Jose reckons that freight would kill it if I got one from him, although I do want him to quote it.

Can anyone here help with advise on brands and where to buy?

Much as I'm not a fan of TRS the performance one they do is very good, internally finned for better cooling.
That said, an Alisport or Serk one would do the job just fine.

Just ordered one from Allisport, Andrew was really helpful, freight was 89GBP
