I have had a Madman for the past 10 years. Within the first 6 months the oil pressure falsely showed way over pressure, so I programmed that out. Some years later the EGT showed over range, even on a cold start, so I programmed that out too. The voltage reading is .4 volts out, maybe it always was, I don't know. The low coolant alarm still works, but I cannot change it to less than 30 second delay for the alarm. I would not recommend Madman.

Assuming you had the EMS-1, I found the harness plug not fully engaged would cause dodgy EGT readings. I also used to see high oil pressure readings when cold which was a faulty pressure relief valve. The oil pressure would go out of range.

Yes, it's a EMS 1. I had the oil pressure checked by screwing in a gauge and it was to spec's, the madman was definitely giving a false reading.
