Hi Dave I have one of your engine saver's and very happy with it. How about something simular to monitor engine oil pressure, temp. I have been looking at Murpy gauges and will proberly get one but if you could come up with a unit like the engine saver I think you would sell plenty of them?

    Funny you should ask that...
I just made a simple monitor for the love of my life, (2000 Ducati 748 Superbike)
It uses a pair of adjustable oil pressure switches linked to hi -intensity led's for idle pressure & running pressure notifications.
Has a fixed temperature alarm led to remind me to switch the fan overide switch on at 82 degrees in traffic and of course a low coolant led.
The idle pressure switch is set 5psi below hot idle pressure (35psi) & the running pressure switch is set 10 psi below normal run pressure (70psi)
I used all led's so I don't need to scan gauges when riding.
My baby is fully protected now.
Is that the sort of thing you have in mind?

If you design one I will vollenteer to be the test vehicle, Something that would warn us if the bolt on the oil pump falls off or an oil line fails might save a lot of dollars and a lot of suffering!

Hi I have, and I'm wondering about he price and the ease of installing it? I had a look but cant seem to find how many $ ? I like Daves engine saver as it is affordable, reliable and was a 1 hour job to fit. PS Dave if you build one give it a differant alarm sound so we know what bit is broken!
