I would say not one eyed but living in hope. Not hard to pick, the coach resigns just before the cup, the new coach is a Dutchman, who did not know the players, has the team play a totally different style [ 4-3-4 instead of 4-4-3 Ask your friends at work] and against Denmark does not bring on the one player who may have scored. [ again, ask your workmates.]To me, the miracle is they even qualified.

The debate begins, as football fans go for the jugular. The one big positive about the Socceroos World Cup? At least we did better than the KIWIS!Something to hold onto at Bledisloe time.....

Portugal and Argentina out! who'da thought. This shows it doesn't matter how much possession you have, it's how you use it.

France 4 Croatia 2. How good is Mbappe? Another once in a generation player.

France wins 2nd World Cup title, beats Croatia 4-2

Could they have waffled any longer pre and post game ? About five hours if not mistaken from beginning to end. Took away from my enjoyment of the actual game.

This was the first world cup since I don't know when, a South American team wasn't in the finals .Took away some of the theatre, I think. I think we may have found the next Australian coach.
