Thread: What fluid does everyone use in their Parts Washers?

    Bought a secondhand Parts washer for$50 then got a drum of kerosene and filled it up.
    Since then as it evaporated slowly or went down by clinging to washed Parts I have topped it up a few times with diesel.

    I put water in the parts washer, then the diesel or kero sits on top & the dirt goes to the bottom. The diesel or kero stays cleaner much longer. Paul
