I have a basic pop rivet tool. I am usually just using 1/8 and 5/32 which it handles ok. Today I was using 3/16 rivets and although the gun can do them it was hard work, especially on my wrists.
So I figure that I need to get a bigger one. Now looking on ebay there seems to be two options. A concertina type or a long handle lever type.
The specs on most of the concertina ones can do larger rivets than the long handled ones, which suggests to me that they would be better.
Has anyone used either, or better still both?

I've got a few riveters. The Concertina type are really good if you have a lot of access, but hopeless in confined spaces.
Best ones I've used are Marson (from USA I think) or this one, which I think is probably made in Taiwan, but it has nice long handles and is good even on stainless steel rivets, and it was pretty cheap:

The cut outs on the side make it easier to get close in when the hole is right next to a vertical surface.

The one in your link is a similar style to the one I have. It looks too short in the handles for decent leverage.
This is similar to mine, which I have had for about 35 years. It now has a helicoil in the nose where the tips screw in.

Get one of those portable air tanks, i use one to top up tires instead of rolling out the compressor and hose.

I have the long handled type due to wrists rotten with arthritis. It's the crack at the end of the riveting process that causes the pain for me. I find the long riveter doesn't give my wrists the shock loads that the normal one's do. I haven't used the concertina type for a very long time. I paid only $20 for my long riveter at a swap meet. New, and chinese made, but has worked well. I use it for my work.
