    Yes, it works very well. . Not sure where the data logging files go yet - probably should read the instructions.

    Used it yesterday in anger in an application where a standard meter wouldn't work. The mighty Vectra conked out on SWMBO the other day. Once towed home, I found the battery to be dead flat. Assuming the alternator was knackered, I charged the battery up, fired up the engine and checked the voltage - 13.8. Hmmmm.

    Left the Mushi connected under the bonnet and went for a drive while the phone sat in the phone holder on the volts setting. First speed bump I hit, the voltage dropped to 12.5. The second bump I hit had the voltage back to 13.8

    Came home and checked the (pain in the arse to get to) terminals on the alternator and found the plug was loose. Only realised after I fixed it that the charge lamp on the dash was also knackered, so it gave us no indication there was an issue.

    For data logging you first need to fit a micro SD card, then just enable logging.
