Do a search for torque wrench and for tension wrench in this section.
I will be buying a torque wrench, to make sure that I tighten the bolts up correctly, I don't want to over tighten them and bugger up the aluminium castings. Or wreck the bolts on the centrifugal filter.
But which one? URREA, Kinchrome etc?
I know I might need to get 2 a 1/4 and a 1/2 I just don't want to get a piece of crap.
Thanks
Bo

As dumb as it sounds those aldi ones appeared quite good.... made by a german company if I remember correctly. I ended up buying one as it's the identical tool to all the 80->$200 torque wrenches (you can tell there all from the same factory just by looking at them).
The micrometers there I thought were fantastic too... I was amused to go the the local bolts and fastners store (that sells varieties of expensive brand name micrometers) and find they had 1/2dozen aldi micrometers under the counter to measure up/match seals/fasteners. They thought they were brilliant too... and you didn't have to worry about people stealing them.

Seen a digital one a Supercheap yesterday that will fit on any wrench! I think it was about 60-70 bucks.

SupporterI went with Sykes Pickavant. They were a bit pricey, but at least I know (hope!) they will last. So far so good !
Warren & Brown if you want the real deal. Australian made too.
My Sidchrome torque wrench is made by them.
if you're properly concerned about it you'll need three 1/4 3/8th and 1/2
