I got one years back from Bunnings. It was a gun style one with the small detergent bottle underneath and the variable nozzle / jet patterns. It wasn't much chop, and was relegated to the dusty spider infested corner of the shed.

I'm sure one could be made easily enough with standard hose fittings and some PVC components. Would be an interesting project!

Gardening section at Bunnings.Get some hose on soil wetter, feed n weed or similar.Give the garden a treat then you have the bottle to re-fill
You can even get a window cleaning product by Windex or similar for cleaning the outsides windows.Perhaps buy that and use it to clean the car,re-fill when empty.Coles for that one.

You could head to the big green shed as mentioned,
Hortex 450ml Fertiliser And Insecticide Sprayer I/N 3368178 | Bunnings Warehouse

We use these for soaping up trucks when doing a quick wash.
The bottle unclips from the trigger section.

Most truck parts outlets have them.

Don't forget to do under the bonnet, the insides of the wheel arches and the entire chassis / under-body.

Go to Bunnings, ask which aisle, add 4 to that number, subtract 5. Become distracted in tools section, buy power tools and other gadgets you know you need, return home, wife asks where's the hose thing, tell her they didn't have one, ask if she agrees to let you get a pressure cleaner as it's got more uses down the track, go shopping again.
