Look out for secondhand wheel alignment hoists.A very cheap way of getting a drive on hoist.A mate picked one up for $750.

 I thought they were even more expensive as they have the recesses for the turntables and ususally belly lift as well 
I do have a set of old alignment ramps here that I use at the moment .. full length that pivot at the front.  Brilliant, but they sure aren't a hoist
