Im trying to resurrect an old Stihl Farmboss 032AV

It has an intermittent weak spark

Parts are nigh impossible to source

Ive seen on some US small motor forums, you can use a trigger module to eliminate points and condenser like this

My saw has an electronic sensor (no points and condenser)

On the forums there is a lot of conflicting advise about suitability of the after market trigger module for a motor with factoy electronic ignition.

Has anyone here done this conversion, especially on a 032 AV motor with the electronic ignition?
