About 2 yrs ago,we changed over all our cordless work gear except for the rotary hammer drills to Milwaukee,big improvement over the old Hitachi stuff,no issues at all.

But the big issue is they make so much gear,the boys always want something Milwaukee,torches,radios,leaf blowers,small pressure blasters,etc,etc

And guess who is still using the old Hitachi gear?
Yes,i have about three grinders,four almost worn out drills,numerous torches,impact drills,batteries and chargers.

Milwaukee make an amazing range of gear, don't they. As a Queenslander whose climate never goes below 10 degrees C except on the coldest of freak cold snaps. I am wryly amused by the battery heated clothing. I can see the need for this having spent a Winter in Omaha and six weeks of mid-winter in Milwaukee. After a few weeks in Omaha I found myself wondering why the white man didn't leave it to the Indians. Both lovely cities, great food and beer, friendly maidens, but, My God! the winters.

Come on the Winter Wombat and you’ll see why an Aussie might like one. I wish they were around when I was driving coaches to the snow. And I usually don’t feel the cold.

Wait until you see their digital torque wrench. It’s nuts.
