    christie engineering battery charger

i have inherited a 55amp christie engineering battery charger

its pretty much band new as its only been started four times and never charged a battery

anybody else have one??? are they worth lugging around???

i'm normally dead against generators when camping and would only drag it out in the middle if the day if at all, i know these units are noisier than say a honda but run time is much less

I would carry one for camping where cloud and shade hinder solar charging, so long as you have space for it.

If you don't want it, they fetch good money on ebay, I've seen them go for $800...
