Cool Truma B14 Gas /Electric wter heater - how do you remove the cowl?

I am feeling a little dumb but we have just taken our Avan for its first official spin up to the daughter in laws and back for the weekend.

As is a blokes want we decided to use the gas function for some hot water. But how the #$% are you suppossed to remove the vent cover - it locks on easily - but the lugs dont seem to have any release point - I ended up uses a screwdriver to pop the lugs up and over but can see that not lasting long!

You grab the top edge with both hands and press your thumbs in to the front of it about 1.5 - 2 inches down, and pull when the lugs dis-engage. (it is tight)

    Cheers,
