    I read an in-depth report of a similar vehicle on Overland Journal a while ago. Nice truck, but not my style of travel I have to admit. Of course, way out of my price range and even if I could afford it, I would not buy one.
    My favourite choice would be an 88' and a swag in the bag. Or travelling on horseback

    Like you my favorite will be a a defender, this type of material is way too cumbersome.

    on an overland trip, it will definitely catch the attention of potential undesired object collectors
