G'day Andrew, Sankey (ex-british army) trailers are quite rare in Australia there are a few here all imported of course. I suspect you mean the No5 trailer ex-Australian Army these are getting harder to get as well after all that 9/11 B/S the Govt is tightening up on the disposal of such items I heard that a batch of trailers in Qld were crushed rather than sold off, that maybe B/S as well because I got the info s/hand, they do crop up on ebay at times and they do sell for tidy sums of money, even very rough ones at that, hope that helps your enquiry cheers Dennis
PS from memory a chap imported a few(Sankey trailers) into Qld about 6 months ago if you go into the REMLR site and go back a page or two you might find a post from Rocket (aka Kev Hicks) he could give up the info needed if you were after a British Sankey but it will not be cheap!!!!!!!

I have seen ads in British mags and they are cheap -200pounds and up I think.
I just want a trailer that can go where a Land Rover can go.
I have looked into getting hubs and stubs with LR pattern and making my own trailer and I think I will have to do that  Just another job to add to the list
Thanks for the input

I have one of the Ex-Army Engineers workshop trailers in good condition. I am looking for the Box to bolt on, and change it from the engineering platform, if anyone knows where there is one, or wants to swap.
