    Apple Reversing camera

Based on a couple of old threads on the forum, I finally sorted out a workable camera system using my iPad and iPhone to assist with backing up to hitch the van.

I used an app called iWatcher Free, which uses bluetooth to send the video and mounted the iPhone on the back door using an old PDA suction mount with some velcro and rubber bands. iPad is in a ram mount on the dash. Pics below illustrate the setup.

    Cheers

    Hi Pedro

Believe it or not the car is standard height. But hitch receiver hole on the Kaymar bumper is 100mm higher than the standard landrover tow hitch hence the plough tongue to keep the van level.

When I had the std landrover bumper and hitch everything was level with the landrover tongue.

One day I'll flip the van axles......

    Cheers
