    Replacement manufacturers plate

    It would appear ours is still on holidays somewhere,,

    is it as simple as just stamping a new one and attaching?

    In Victoria, yes - just buy a blank trailer plate and restamp if you know the VIN and gross mass, which should be on your rego papers.

    Not sure about your neck of the woods though.

    My local RFS purchased a van for a driver reviver coffee stop.
    The van was an onsite betting counter with computors etc.
    Had not been regoed as Im guessing it was transported on tilt tray.


    Local RMS decided that the compliance plate could not be read off a photo as the paint was scratched and the model of the van was blank.


    They wanted the van taken over the pits and an engineering inspection done.


    Currently being modified/refitted so it will require a new plate.
    regoed as a home made trailer.
