If you are going Jayco, you will be needing these.

Swan or Flamingo. Go for Outback option. You need to have a full annex as well.

The reason for this is that they are the same van but a different layout. Do not go to a Hawk or Eagle as the living area is 400mm shorter and one of the bed ends is shorter as well. We found the layout important...that we preferred the Hawk because the fridge and cooking area is down one end. We made the bed closest to this area ours and the kids up the other end. If you went the other way the kids are running up & down the van while the wife is cooking tea....not a good idea.

    Cheers,
    Lyndon.

What is your reasoning behind the decision, quality, cost, options avaiable?

quality would be high on the list over the jayco

cost the are alot more exspensive than the jayco's 8O

options avaiable most of the options already come with the van

you will need to pay extra for a annexe as you do with most of them

but the main reason would have to be the internal layout and space
    i have 4 kids from 6-13yrs old

i'm going tomorrow to check out the Goldstream vans as well

ps/ also welcome to the site mate
