Our little ex British Army trailer

A friend of ours brough this one over from Scotland (where he lived) crammed full of his belongings. He decided to offload it once he reached our shores to get another one (larger I believe) instead.

We've used it as a camper-trailer quite successfully, and with the rooftop tent it's an absolute ripper. Go the pintle!!

    Cheers
    Chris

('scuse the shots of the Jeep - we hadn't bought our 110 TD5 back when these were taken)

Is that an Eezy Awn tent?

Where did you get it? ,as I am looking into that option for my round OZ trip to supplement the caravan when we want to go Offroad

    Hi Harry

EezyAwn and Howling Moon are both imported by Open Sky Pty Ltd ( http://www.opensky.com.au ) by a bloke called Hans. He distributes them through lots of places - and they are listed on his website.

We currently have two - one we shared between the GQ and the trailer - and the one we got with our new Defender. We may look to sell one - but don't know when... we may in fact decide to keep both for a while.

Best things for a good night's sleep. We love them.

    Thanks Omaroo.

If I was still living in Canberra I might have asked to have a look and probably tried to twist your arm to sell one, as I am in Perth I will go to Opposite Lock as they are listed as the WA agent.

Can you recall the price of the tent and the awning?

    best regards

    No worries Harry

The tent is the EezyAwn Elite model - the middle-sized one. From memory it's 2.44m long and 1.4m wide.

    Tent: approx $2,500 new
Awning: approx $1,500 new (thereabouts - I think)

    Cheers
    Chris

It's jinda funny, but your trailer preceeds you. Not that long ago a pic of your trailer poped up here in a conversation, rather ironic I think

I think it was rocket that had a contact who brought a few in from the UK, but the end cost per unit was something like $2000
