    yea,, about 3A per magnet required to lock them up.. not a lot really.
    but if you have 4 magnets,, and over 3T behind, and "want" to travel in traffic I'd think a bit more may be needed,, certainly the newer/more expensive brake controllers have this capacity.

    10” can easily pull 4a.. each **with suitable cabling**

    Doesn’t sound a lot until you factor in rising voltage method that controllers use... a full panic stop needs 4a @ 12v (the Vmax the controller can send)...

    Factor in over 8mtrs if cable and that voltage is down 8% immediately... along with your braking capability.
