Long time between posts here, but a lot more has been done. Most notably is that I have started on the exterior. Have bought a heap of tinted acrylic and started replacing all the windows. Got a few on the side windows done but more that that have the whole back window sorted - removed, cleaned, rotting sill replaced, tinted windows and new glazing rubber installed including making up a form to bend the new side windows which worked out great. Back painted and new stickers applied.

Looks pretty good IMO, and a LOT of work on this end - around 4 days solid work removing, cleaning and replacing the back window set. Not sure what I’m going to do with the old AC hatch below the number plate, will sort that in time.

I’ve had the van down the in-laws for some time, but it is back home now for a bit more work before Winter Wombat. Mainly top up the diesel tank for the heater I think... 😇

Weld a couple of wings onto it & it will look nicely at home parked up between all those ally giants at the next Air Show.

I'm confused - is that a recent pic of the van? It looks like it's sitting in a familiar place... *confused*

Probably but we’ll never know. I have several good tow tugs, no reason to even try. Jag is my weekend cruiser, wouldn’t want to put the old girl through that much. 👍

I could just imagine you in a gleaming Jag towing a shiny classic caravan turning up at a classic caravan gathering at a scenic caravan park for a bit of Elvis, wine and cheese.
