Hey 'Ranger'..that's a good lookin outfit there.....That bar looks good on the D1 too.
If you do'nt mind me asking, What's the 'Ball Weight on that Van of yours?
Cheers,
Pug.
Drove to Melbourne and picked up the new toy a couple of weekends ago. Can't wait to get to use it good and proper, and to start decking it out with all the extra goodies that you always find that you "need". Hopefully getting away down south over the Easter long weekend to give it a good shake down.

The van is a Windsor Rapid 441 RTV. Total weight is 1321kg tare, 1621 gross with a maximum ball weight of 148kg.
....Thanks for the update,.........
So when does the van get it's Christening run?...........

Been there, done that. A few small teething problems but nothing major. Looking forward to giving it a good run in a few weeks time. Heading up north to Ningaloo for a couple of weeks of fishing and relaxing. Just organising some modifications so that I can still take the tinny up on the roof as well.
Hi "the lowranger".
The cook and I had a Rapid 14' for over 4 years and did many miles in it with very little trouble. I had the wardrobe fitted with shelves and under the cooktop I installed pull out drawers. The cook loved me for it as she could stack even more stuff in it!
Sold it for about the same as we paid for it new to a bloke that rang early on the day it was advertised and an hour later he'd bought it.
When I emptied it after the sale the stuff the cook had hoarded in there filled one of the spare bedrooms!
Bought a camper trailer with the proceeds but in a few years we may go back to a van, hopefully after exploring all those places we couldn't get to with the Rapid.
Happy travels.
Alan.
Nice set up. I am sure you will find the Discovery a pleasure to tow with. I am also looking at putting a tinnie up top and have been looking at the tinnie tosser.
I would be interested in what you have planned for carrying the tinnie
