Just curious to see if anyone has done, or heard of someone making a trailer using the back end of a 2 door rangie before?
Matt.

Thanks Andrew, that's similar to what I was originally wanting to do. You've done a good job by the looks, was there much to it?
Another one that I've seen is on the Central QLD LR owners club website here. If you go to the gallery and look up the camper trailer link you'll see it. I think the owner of it visits this website, as that's where I saw it first.
Matt.
with a 2 door RRC'mate thats sacrelidge! *btw i cant spell
Mine was a fairly easy change as the trailer already had a tray from an LN30 Hilux, but was looking a bit tired and had too much rust in the tray to really be worth doing anything with.
A Rangie trayback crossed my mind, but there is a fair amount of work to cut & tuck the panelwork particularly around the rear pillars to close them off and it didnt have the loadspace I wanted.
I put out a call in the markets section under "wanted" for a 2a after a few beers on night and an idea in my head and got a call almost straight away!
The rest is in the post.
The good thing is that I dumped a good 80kg by flicking the Hilux tray and welding in 2 new mounting rails was the hardest part and that was easy!
The next thing is to make a new chassis that will give me more room at the draw bars to make an area to put the pushbikes on when we go away or to put the up and coming Yammie Raptor on there aswell!
Just need to work out the legalities of it............![]()
