Thread: Camper & trailers

Morning all. Some pics of my trailers & my Teardrop Camper. The larger box trailer is a 7 x 4,the smaller is Courier based,the wooden one uses `35 Willys suspension currently with beemer mags but i have a pair of vintage wheels to fit on.The Teardrop is the only remaining of 3 factory built using DC3 aircraft ali frame & cladding.Rear hatch opens to reveal kitchenette. A pair of Austin 16" x 3 studders are to be refitted as per original build.I have just got a set (4) 1948 Bentley ali sports guards to fit 2 on it & two on the wood trailer. The guards are Derry Mallaleui hand formed originals & supposedly the only ones he made in the configuration/specs that they are.Think i might need more than one GS to tow all my stuff!! cheers gordon

Hi DiscoTDI. Teardrop travels well. Wouldn`t know it was there. I can manouveur it by hand with relative ease. Once i refit original type wheels it should even be better. cheers gordon
