As a AULRO 101 Group we can use the name and this site to encourage get together meetings even if it is through other clubs and groups like Corowa and Melrose.
In the past we have had 4 101s and a FC series landrovers on a winter rallie of another club all organised though this forum and many others.
Just do what we do now but just a little bit more under a name AULRO 101 Group all open and friendly.
We may have to have a big Group decision on the number and design of the AULRO 101 group beer mugs

A mate got a set of personalised coffee mugs. They were cheap and on the internet. A small batch were made. We might be able to get a few better quality ones made for a reasonable price.

I think what Ron is saying is absolutely right for the sharing of information and parts sourcing etc, but I would assume the "Global 101 association" is going to want financial input from its " member groups" to enable it to operate as do most associations etc.
I think the financial part of it would be difficult though something informal like Aulro.
