I have been quiet on this forum of late their is little to report as my 101 has been going very well and giving little trouble.
The local 4WD club gets called out time to time by the council or coppers to help people stuck/broken down in the more remote parts of the area.
In this case it was a Nissan X trail with surfing type P platers who drive past and squeezed around rocks etc that block off a area.
The X trail had been there over night and the owner will get a fine of some sort.
The 101 got to use its winch again.
The usual story , shouldnt be there , wrong vehicle and wrong tyre pressures ect.
In this part of the world driving on beaches is out lawed ( yes it stinks).
You can just see the winch cable on the ground in the pic below.
The old bucket of bolts still earns its keep.
