I'll get round to doing the locking strap one day... though they'd have fun getting diesel out of my tanks, as a little drive and most of the right tanks contents gets forced into the left!
As for the canvas.. Neither... No hole for the spare, just a small window either side which suits my application fine as both spares will be going on the rear soon. :)
You should have got a tilt with the flap just behind the driver - in summer you can open it and it really helps with ventilation and cooling of the cabin area.

cool.
makes me miss mine..a lot.
Ok, managed to do a few jobs today. Refitted the speedo cable. It is long enough... Just!! I've also made up some linkage etc to connect the handbrake. Using the original 101 steel rod, I welded an eye on the gearbox end, and drilled two supporting holes in the RH gearbox chassis mount to allow the rod to pass thru. This fell short of the LT handbrake drum actuation rod by about 350mm, and sat 120mm higher than the eye on the drum, so using a shaped steel tube that's bolted to the LT 230, I've run some flexible trailer brake high tensile wire thru the tube and thru each eye, clamping it up in a loop. Seems to work well! :)
never saddle a dead horse.:p
Tut tut. Need to sort that chap :(
Saddle a dead horse? Sort what? Ya both have lost me!
The clips are not as secure that way round the saddle should be on the working end not the dead end.
