130 is the better option I feel just wanted to know if that option was a big cost saver. I do need a bigger tray than that for my needs

The 110 Dual Cab compromises on both passenger and cargo categories. Unless your circumstances suit that configuration - ie : a hunter with dogs in the back and camping gear in the back seat area.
No doubt that for 99.999% of people either the s/wagon or 130 HCPU are much more practical options.

The 110DC is just so COOL though (maybe even sub-zero for the TG fans) and that is the single most important thing ! When you go to yoru agarge you have to LOVE your car each time you see it, or it's not worth having.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I have to agree with Vlad.

I read about it here, I saw the pictures, I downloaded the specs and I thought WTF? That has to be dumbest idea I've ever seen. I never thought a Defender could be ugly! Who, even Defender fans, in their right mind even contemplate one?

Then I saw one in the flesh. It was brand new shiny black with a mid brown canvas awning and i thought "Good Lord, it's beautiful I love it and I want one!".

Coolest car on the road? Name a cooler one.

Agree James. Saw the pics and thought it looked as if it had been run up the arse with a Mack truck. Then I saw one in the dealer at Parra. Mmmmm. Imagining a full length roof tray all the way to the tailgate.

Does the 130 have a stronger clutch??? Maybe a ROW spec thing, the UK ones are the same as the 110, though granted rear suspension is stiffer.

110 High Capacity Pick Up: Single cab with a long tub.

110 Cab Chassis: Single cab with a tray.

Which would mean getting a 110 Crew Cab P.U. and replacing the the tub with a custom tray. Why not just get a 130 with the stronger clutch, springs and wider/longer wheelbase.

I believe the 130 is fitted with the heavy duty clutch as standard, even in UK. Same part No. with HD at the end. Fits straight into a 110.

still own the 300Tdi and runs great....well for the short time about a half hour it felt good I was surprised about the 6th gear but the one I drove didn't have traction control in this particular model so I had to take a different track to everyone else..other than that..puma....well it doesn't have vents at the front so I will stick to our RED truck
