Is there a 110 dual cab cab chassis as well as the 130 varient ? I know there is a hcpu 110 but wondering if a 110 dual cab cab chassis would be cheaper and if it had any advantage or disadvantage over the 130 ?
The simple answer is: no.
I test drove a 110 dual cab at the Land Rover Promotion Day
Very small tray in them though not much room for camping gearbut same size as the 130 in the cabin
seemed a very capable vehicle in the tacks I took it through quite steep and muddy in places

Sorry KarlB, the simple answer is YES. I was looking at one recently at the LR dealer in Parramatta.
Same cabin, shorter wheelbase (smaller turning circle) but the rear tub is not much over a metre long. There was just a British show on TV called Survivors (not survivor) about a bunch who survive a plague that killed 90% of the population. They drove around England in a 110 dual cab. Maybe you can find an episode on the web and check it out.

Horably small tray in back of the shorter one that I saw at the Snapper Rocks Quicksilver Pro--guess it was a 110. Recon two bags of cement would almost fill it up by the looks of it. Still would not mind one though.
I would have thought the tub was about the same length as a 110 station wagon with a bulkhead. It certainly would appear short with the spare wheel sitting in there though.
I recall having seen a photographs of a 110 dual cab chassis but it was a creation of Foley Specialist Vehicles.
Land Rover only make the 110 single cab and 130 double cab in HCPU.
The 110 double cabs, body work is not seperate from the chassie, its basicly a 110 station wagon with the rear chopped off, half way down, so no option is offered by LR to have a 110 double cab chassie.
However
You can get one, and heres some pics, to give you a idea..

Just been to the LR Aust website: Just to clarify, available 110 models:
110 Crew Cab Pick Up: Twin cab with a short tub.
110 High Capacity Pick Up: Single cab with a long tub.
110 Cab Chassis: Single cab with a tray.
Which would mean getting a 110 Crew Cab P.U. and replacing the the tub with a custom tray. Why not just get a 130 with the stronger clutch, springs and wider/longer wheelbase.
The back seats in the dual cab sit more bolt upright than in the s/wagon. If I was going to go for a 110, it would be the s/wagon, as the back seats rake back more and are more comfortable, plus the seats can be folded forward to extend the cargo capacity. The 110 Dual Cab compromises on both passenger and cargo categories. Unless your circumstances suit that configuration - ie : a hunter with dogs in the back and camping gear in the back seat area.
