None of them look like they have the handle removed but the plastic which forms the glove box looks like it sits on top of the handle making the handle only grab-able from underneath

    Hi there.
How does the lid stay closed on the glove box....velcro?
I used the old style kitchen cupboard latches.

Velcro is used just to cushion the hole where the pins go in, you could also use A thick foam. It was something I had handy at the time. Only purpose is to stop any rattles should they occur. Gloves box is big enough to fit sat phone pluse portable UHF and other small items

Well it arrived on Wednesday but didn't get around to installing it until today. Took about 20 minutes and about 2 litres of water, it is bloody hot outside even at 5pm

The lid stays closed thanks to the two locating poles that slot in either side of the plastic cover. You remove the metal clips from these.

I've added a couple of rubber tabs to help stop any rattle. Pic's to follow.

Here is another option. Might get a picture of the 'handle' version tomorrow.

    20101112-no handle.jpg

It's a straight replacement for the standard top cover and grab handle, using the same screw/bolt fittings. A five minute job at most.

Material: Moulded and folded ABS, bead blasted to give it the same matt finish as the standard interior.

Concealed push-to-close grabber latches pull and hold the lids securely closed.

    Cheers,
    Daniel
