Looks like you didn't fill the well completely with the drawers - there is about 150mm section on the RH side. Was that just so the drawer cleared the door stay?

The checker plate dash in the background is interesting too...

yeah steve that is correct to clear the rear door, I made it the same size as the out back draw system.

the checker plate, The countys come out with aircon in the dash, I removed all the dash center as the air con didn't work, I replaced it with checker plate and mounted my gauges in it.

I had the steel supplier fold it but wish I had of done it, I have access to a pan brake to fold it but was worried that I would stuff it, but would have been better doing it my self as it was folded up abit out of square.

    measurements: 900mm x 700mm. 1.5mm thick.

the bearings I have had for awhile and now can't remember the part number, just go to a local bearing place. there about 40mm with a 12mm hole.

I made this set up for my first camping trip last year, it worked really well although a little on the heavy side
As I use the vehicle for work too, the storage boxes are really handy for tools etc.The drawer runners were $62 from ebay and will hold 90kg. I've now discovered a scource for E Lite Plywood, so I'm going to remake the same again but it should be 2/3 lighter. I'll then cover with carpet to match interior.

    Total cost was about $95.00

My 2c worth. Get some edge moulding and put it over the inner lip. this will prevent you cutting yourself on the edge and also gives a neat finish. That's what I did on mine.

jerryd, good job mate good price.

gecko, no mate didn't weigh them not to bad though.

warren9981, yeah mate that is what I have planned it's called pinch weld, as well I want to put a piece of aluminium channel down the center divider to cap the ply off.
