    If you have the means to truss/ laminate a housing.
    Would it be worth making a jig and trying to draw (some hot welds across the tube) the short (right) side back to 0.4* to match the long side.
    Youll need a jig to hold the housing straight when you truss the housing anyways - playing with the current housing can be a practice run!

    Im supprised no one has mentioned the Rover tracks CVs and axles yet, if they are still the same price you get axles and CVs for 660usd, add shipping and conversion and there still cheap as. I broke county CVs but i havnt broken a rover tracks CV....

    I have looked them up and seems like a good option. timing is not perfect as my wife has just left her job last week. I would like to fit a locker at the same time.

    As has just been said, speak to Rovertracks, or Ashcroft. The county stuff is a waste of time by comparison.

    I bought some longtracks from Keith a few weeks ago,and they were $660 U.S.
    You can't compare them with county C.V's,and you get the stronger axles as well.
    Half the price of just the Ashcroft C.V's without axles

    One down side to the rover tracks if your using a county front axle, you need to switch the hubs and stubs for the 24 spline narrow bearing spacing type front end from a disco or defender, not hard to do and if you can find the parts cheap(i had a mate give me a d1 axle) its well worth the hassle.

    I got a special deal,because Keith already had a spare set here in Aust.
    But I think the delivery is normally about $160.
    But with the Aust. dollar now high,it should be a fair bit less.
    Well worth the cost.No more worrying about when the next axle or C.V is going to let go.

    Keith makes some really nice gear,and really knows his rovers.
    I am going to buy some rear axles and steering linkages from him very soon.

    So dose that mean a different drive flange, I like the ones I have.
