    Hi Derek ,
I find the outer ring of the standard 98 defer wheel to be a bit too thick for comfort for my small hands-much preferred the old Rangie wheel.
Do these give a better grip for the smaller hand?
    Thanks,
    Mary

The Puma's wheel is a smaller diameter grip than my 98MY Tdi's and this is about the same as the Puma's in grip diameter

Yes they probably do: Moto-Lita, the Classic British Steering Wheel
You could even get a wood rim one

I also noticed the chrome covered lights, indicators & washers switches...

Ooh, La, La..Are the white walls on order?

Good to see some peronal touches added to ones pleasure machine..

Now, now, be sensible Pete! Just because you can't put one on the D4

    More toys on order though

Hmmm just had a look at the manual. Hadn't realised that about the gear lever

295 EUR and it's not anything like the SVX in looks and has a stick on selection diagram

Think I'll stick with the plastic one, who knows an SVX wreck might come along
It's the shape of the gear knob I don't like so the SVX special would not do it for me.

Continuing my search for a replacement I've now discovered from a post by fred95 on blacklandy forum that the 295 EUR only buys the replacement knobs and gaiter and not even the stick!

Apparently you need to cut off the existing plastic knob and attach the new knob to the original stick, so it seems it's doable with whatever knob you desire. Just need to be brave enough vandalise the original.

Here are some links with the info.

I MAY be interested as well if we could organise for the wheel and boss kit required for the PUMA.

I wonder if we would get some savings ?
