Yep it's a 200 Tdi. Has 265k km on it. I had a Disco with the LT77 in it so already somewhat used to the gearbox, though this one is a lot tighter and better condition than the old Disco's.

I'm thinking about getting rid of the tipper as it's not something that I will ever likely use.

My Tdi pair. I've had the 110 for 11 years and been restoring the 130 for the past 2 (nearly finished ).

I'll post up some pics of the tray I've made for the 130 in the near future.

James, just wondering what width your tray is ? Looks wider than the cab. The reason is I'm pondering whether a Trayon camper of width 1980 is too wide for my 130.
    thanks

    Hi Chris,

That tray is exactly 1800mm wide. I've since swapped it for a Triple M aluminium tray which is a touch wider; 20-40mm perhaps. I personally wouldn't go any wider than this, but that is just a personal opinion. I stuck with 1800 for the one I made for the 130.

From memory the tray on my 120 (supplied new with the vehicle back then) would be about that wide - my memory says it measured 1950mm inside the drop sides. I will check and post back a correction later if I'm mistaken.

    Hi Chris

The tray on my 120 is also 1800 wide.

I notice that trayon do 3 different widths of camper with one only 1830 wide. No doubt there is some down sides to the narrower model but after doing the Mount Gill track amongs others in the Flinders I would be hesitant to go much wider.

Creeping past trees close to the track etc.. with the narrow tray at least if the cab fits then you know the tray should to. I guess is really depends on what type of tracks you intend to do but if you are into the harder stuff then keep it narrow would be my advise, particularly with the longer wheel base and wider turning circle of the 130.

    Cheers
    Rob

thanks to the 4 of you - I'd originally planned on getting the 1950 cos that's what the Nissans and Toyos generally go with. It was a shock that after I got the 130 I realized just how much smaller the Landys are in width. I know that can have advantages so I'll have to go with the 1830 as I'm keen on not being restricted and always worrying about slicing the side off ...
Rob, you're right about the turning circle of the 130. Another shock. I've heard that with Disco wheels the turning circle improves but not sure how or why. Spacers also do the job I'm told but apparently illegal.

Looking for a Used 1830 Trayon now - if anyone knows of someone selling I'm happy to take it off their hands

    thx again
    Chris

ps : Austastar, your Innovan looks a cracker. Never seen one before. I'll look up their site. Every damn Defender I see on this site looks beautiful. Not mine. Unfortunately.
