    Not mine

Just bought by Drew90. Read and see more here: Factory Options/Accessories

Actually I don't think the photo here is a true represenation of the colour as I think it was taken under fluorescent light conditions.

    Hi tieds,

You're not alone. The MY10 models had a rear wiper & washer and it seems that MY11 models don't. This thread has a little information on some other changes that appeared with MY11.

For those who don't have an aftermarket wheel carrier, not having the rear wiper makes it a little easier to wash the back door...

Interestingly the plugs for the rear washer & wiper are sitting disconnected behind the dummy switches in the dash. So maybe the entire wiring loom is there and can perhaps be made use of for some accessories if you purchase a switch. The water hose that ran up the passenger A pillar on MY10 is no longer there.

Speaking of installing accessories: behind the facia that houses the rear speaker on the drivers side you'll find an unconnected plug that is fed by a black wire and a purple wire. This is unused, has a separate fuse and is active when the ignition key is in the "run" position. It is really useful for installing accessories in the rear. I think that all Puma 110's have this, although I've only verified it on MY10 and MY11.

I couldn't be bothered with the rear wiper, the red dirt just turns to mud when you use them and scratches the window. Pat

You can't see much more out of the back of a Defender that you can see in the wing mirrors anyway.

I stand corrected - I've just checked and it is a permanent live and it appears that my Dealer didn't tick the option for rear washer/wiper when ordering the car.

next the front wipers will be a option

maby the ADR have changed that say that a rear wiper is NOT needed,, so they scrap it and call it a option,
