I bought one from Super Cheap Auto to pull the steering wheel off my old not LR 4wd for a few bucks.
I can see if it will fit on my defender if you like?

These tools from memory don't work with the steering wheel on the 300Tdi.
It's the manual removal method described previously.
I like the idea of leaving the bolt on loose so you don't whack yourself in the face, I nearly did the first time I removed mine to replace the indicator stalk.
