I've just put in my order for work, but it's no big deal to order some vents, as long as the order meets their $100 minimum and that would only be 4.

I'm willing to get them cut and post them, but firstly, if I can get some feedback on the design.
If we can come up with a design that we're happy with, then it might be worth posting a bulk purchase thread in the General section.

I was thinking something like this with oval holes to go with the Landy theme. The holes are ~24x12mm ...........any thoughts ??

Nice design, however in order to maximise flow to the heater it would be best to keep the solid/void ratio the same as for the original. That one looks like it doesn't have much void area???

Doesn't the bit in the middle of the R and A within rage look vulnerable to bending?

That's just a matter of changing the size and spacing of the holes...........

    SS 304 #4 3mm $41.50ea

    Alum 3mm $38.50ea

The quote was based on this picture, but the design could vary a bit without greatly affecting the price.

The one in that picture isn't my design, I just used it to get a rough quote, so I haven't got an actual drawing of it.
The one's I got cut were like this Landy Vent See below.
Did you need a template including all the holes in the middle, or would a template of the outer edge and mounting holes suit what you need.

Hey Murray yeah I just need the outside profile and the hole centers and sizes if you could please mate oh and also if you could tell me what size pipe i need to use so i can connect the intake hose to it its for a perentie so it's a 4BD1 sorry for the hassle but im away at work and cant measure it myself i want to keep the size uniform all the way through if possible, just a question but do you think i will be able to run the hose between the tyre arch and connect to a stub pipe which will be welded through the wing top plate i'm making or will i need to have the stub pipe at 90 degrees to connect the hose. Cheers.

The drawing at this link prints out at 1:1 on my printer Landy Vent Template Try downloading it and printing it. If you have any problems PM me your email address and I'll send it.

The snorkel on My County is 75mm and the hose goes straight onto the air filter, but I've flipped my air filter for the turbo, so my intake is where the dump valve used to be, I'm not sure if both are the same size.
You could probably bend a ribbed type hose tight enough to fit onto a straight stub pipe, but a straight walled hose would not work without a 90* elbow.

    Cheers, Murray
