Most Land Rover steering wheels have 2 metric bolt holes either side of the big nut.
Get a piece of steel and drill 2 holes at the appropriate distance so that it goes over the top of the thread that the big nut goes on to.
Select 2 bolts that will not bottom when tightened and screw them up.
Voila!
or if you are non technical you can buy kits at Repco.
Of course you remove the big nut first.
