    Hi Dougie,

I'm in the process of turning my MY11 110 into something simple that will sleep two of us in the back with the back seats left in but folded down. This will work for an earlier model too. I'm leaving the seats because for our next trip we'll have a few passengers for parts of it.
It is possible but you need to build up some shelves or false floor or whatever up to about 500 high off the floor and then have some slides that come out over the folded down seats for your legs to lay on. I've done it pretty simple and cheap, and made it so that it's easy to pull out when not using it for sleeping in. All i've used so far is a couple of sheets of ply and a bit if aluminium channel.
I'll post some photos as soon as i'm done.

    Cheers,
    Chris

The "Dormobile" seats are a clever design, you can make two single beds, a double bed, and the front passenger seat can flip to face the rear, this enables a table to be used and creates a cozy dining area
The rear seats can also fold to the side of the vehicle to give extra floor space.

110 with back seats and a double bed.

    Hi Dougie,

I've done a bit more to the back of my 110 this arvo to get it ready for a double bed in the back while leaving the seats in. I've attached a few pics. It's not finished yet but you'll see the idea.

I've got it set up so that there's a couple of shelves in the back on one side, and a space for my fridge under the other side. When i fold the back seats forward then i can slide out some ply over the top of the folded down seat and it extends enough to make a pretty comfortable double bed. I havn't finished the end support to hold up the extended ply slides yet.

Also i've still got to do a bit of tinkering for the fridge top, but it'll have a piano hinge lid that'll fold up with the fridge door when not extended and when extended a piece that fits in to cover over the fridge for the bed.

The photos are pretty bad as it was getting dark, but i think you'll get the idea.

Just need now to neaten it up and paint or carpet it.

Dual Cab with Carry Me Camper

A photo from the other side would better show the set-up - but you get the idea. This was our solution after starting a family - us upstairs, portacot downstairs.

Gents, after a 3-week camping trip in Namibia, we are seriously considering getting an old 110 single-cab pickup and then the Aha camper on that!
