    PUMA Performance Up grade

    Just got off the phone with Pete Bell from Bell Auto services (BAS) and Andrew from AlliSport. Yorkshire England.

    On the way from the "old dart" is a new hi-capacity intercooler and BAS Re-Map interface.

    So much cheaper and probably better than anything available in Australia.

    Being Sent UPS express - can't wait

    Hi Beckford,

    They are just the standard Land Rover SVX side steps. I am going to cut the brackets and raise them up a couple of inches, or least I am thinking of it.

    I hope Alto's were looking after it...

    Should be good

    I have just finished fitting an Allard intercooler / egr replacement to my TD5 replacing all the cooling system, putting EGT and Boost gauge in place, installing a provent and fixing all the little niggly things.... and fixing new ones i found

    I should be starting it up this weekend... and then we'll see how it goes! I'm looking forward to it... then we'll see if tombie can do me a slightly bigger map than the one he did me

    Look What arrived today....

    Alli-Sport uprated intercooler and the BAS remap device.

    As soon as Alto's are finished chasing water leaks, the fun will begin.

    Does this remap do away with the EGR on the Puma, I think mine is on its last legs and as warrenty runs out in October could be the way to go.

    Hey Allan,

    Glad to read that you are keeping the SVX

    Yes, the modified map will include the new EGR shut off.

    There is a bit of extra info on Defender2, along with direct posts from Pete Bell. This thread is a must read if you are considering it.
