    sunvisor/snorkel

    Hi all,
just wondering if anyone has a mantec snorkel and a metal sunvisor fitted to there defender ??? just wondering if the head of the mantec sorkel would hit the sunvisor or if there is plenty of room mainly in front of the pillar.

    cheers

Metal sunvisors are for old people with kingswoods.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

The snorkle usually sits outside of the A pilar so leaving room for the sun visor.

    I take exception to that

I'm not old but the previous owner was!

I dont actually think they look that bad...

I think mines a safari snorkel but clears anyway.. does that help in the slightest way?

    Muddys,

I've got the Mantec jobbie fitted and there is still plenty of room for the bullbar to roofrack brush cables (if you are so inclined to drive with those fitted! )

It has been designed to sit much tighter to the body than the Safari, but it sits quite high and you should be able to go under. Have a look at the picture of it fitted and see if you agree that it would pass on the inside. (Previously loaded on the linked post)

    Cheers!

The Mantec snorkel is rather flexible. Depending on how it is mounted (brackets on A-pillar or roll cage?) you simply make some spacers if it is sitting too close to your visor and, voilá, it works.

I'm old enough to qualify for the Sunvisor

Not only that, I would actually like a sunvisor.

Where would I be able to purchase one?
