My defe is loaded at the back with a Waeco CF50, the second battery, a 150lts ice box and the recovery gear.
It have Delphi di Carbon shocks and standard springs and it is Ok.
Also the trailer have 100kg on the ball and the Defe do not have any problem with that.
Why "upgrading"the suspension when it is ok with a good set of shocks?
I guess that the Puma would be the same.

We have the drawer loaded with recovery bits & spares. The 60l waceo all the time & a 50l waceo on extended trips. 2 x N70 auxiliary batteries, 20 litre water drum & then the associated other stuff that goes in the back on a trip. Add the 100kg ball weight of the trailer & it rides very bum down once loaded for a trip.

Hence the upgrade decision. Also after seeing the way the back sank, we didn't fit the winch in fear of the front sinking as well

I have read of others saying the rear is fine & just adding the h/duty fronts for bar & winch. But the rears don't seam to be cutting it either.

I have got black widow drawes, barrier, top shelf. All loaded with various bits of kit.

Engle 45 fridge and a drop slide, plus a 60Lt black widow water tank.

With all of this the bum did sit down a little. Fitted a set of Poly-Air's problem solved, even with the van on the back.

But, I have 2" lift OME springs the front to support the bar and winch, so the front is still a little higher than the rear.

I will be looking to cure this soon....

Well, I've got the 130Lt fuel tank, draws full and 45Lt fridge in the back plus whatever.

After much serching I've gone for the Koni Raids and King springs to match but kept standard height.

Now I've just got to fit them.

King springs seem to have a lot of options and reasonably priced. Will do custom if you wish.

As said my my Living the dream thread. I looked at the options, then fitted the air bags to the back like you guys recommended. I am going to fit the Defender 130 front springs to carry the winch & steel bar.
Should I be looking to swap the shocks over while I am in there ? Or should I ride the land rover fitted shocks out until the end of warranty ?
The ride does feel harsh But I was putting that down to the whole land rover spring/shock set up. But I was putting that down to the whole land rover spring/shock set up.

 Once again. Thank you
