    Hi everyone,

    I've been researching dual cab utes for a hire business I'm starting and visited my local (regional NSW) LR dealer today. He mentioned that there is a long waiting list for the 130s due to LR's deals with militaries around the world over the coming two years.

    My questions are:
    What are the lead in times for a 130 dual cab? If I was looking at a 130 in March next year would I need to order now (as the dealer suggested).
    How many 130s are imported in Aus each year?
    I've noticed that there have been a few 130s on carsales.com.au over the past couple of months but not many. Is this a usual state of affairs or has there been a shortage due to the change from the 2.4 to 2.2 Puma?

    The 130 is now special order only, very few dealers will get them in just for the show room, lead time is 3 months from the UK,

    As to how many come in hard to say but I reckon 20/30 per year, very few HCPU these days.

    The shortage is for the above reason.

    A bloke came around to my place a week back and took my 110 for a drive and after that ordered a 130 for Jan delivery. Pat

    There are heaps in Malaysia in the military & the fire dept.Puma's that is.

    The Perth dealer Barbagallo told me they had some on order. You can always give them a ring and find out. I do realise, however, it is on the other side of the continent.

    I ordered my 130 in early February this year, the build started on the 20th of April and it arrived late June.

    So 2 months from build to delivery - I think 3 months for the complete process maybe a bit short.
