Sneaky oil escapes in the night !

    Hi VladTepes

Sneaky oil escapes in the night !
All Land Rover Owners are warned to be on the lookout for the tell tale signs of spots on the concrete.

If any oily puddles are found do not approach, as this is one slippery character and could cause a dirty mark if touched.

The sooner oil is contained in back in the box it escaped from, the other inmates of the box, will then quieten the gnashing of their teeth.

    Cheers Arthur

If you've only had the car back for one day, where has it been?

Would the oil have been drained and then forgotten to have been topped up while there?

Was fluid rather than oil the master cylinder had failed as well. Don;t know whether or how these could be connected but....

Vlad - sounds like the clutch hydraulics have failed. A new clutch MC and slave cyl will set you back $100 +brake fluid and about an hour's labour
