Ok today was an odd one guys. Was driving home from Bunnings, and a Jeep driver smiled and nodded as he passed. He had a propper Jeep (don't know models) I think it was like this:
Haven't come across this before, I thought all Jeep drivers where city slickers that didn't get their toys dirty.
He was also in a short wheel base (2 door) so maybe he was admiring... or maybe he is just a nutter like us.
...yes, as in surreptitious by stealth, so that it's not too obvious ...even a little embarrassed, but often in a friendly, hope you'll notice kind of way.👍
Pardon my ignorance. Makes sense now. I'm a music teacher, not an english teachera. lol.
..If only I could play music. ...lol! What instrument do you play?
Excuse me!!! I take offence at being called a nutter.I'm not a nutter. I'm a Loony.
I've had a few of those nods. From Jeeps, Cruisers and Nissans in particular. I never considered them to be surreptitious. I took them to be a mark of genuine admiration, especially after one Patrol driver wound down his window and yelled, "Great car you've got there Mate.".
Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
Sorry MrLandy I thought you meant, in a sarcastic way. I should have read your explanation to debruiser.
Cheers, Billy.
