Had a great day for waving in the Nations Capital today, all very enthusiastic ones.

An olive green SIII swb (ex army?) in the new suburb of Wright at midday.

A light brown Stage 1 in Fyshwick at 4:55pm

Then a White 300tdi 130 at the big roadworks near the airport at 5:30pm.

I test drove a Defender recently and didn't know what to do when people waved - I didn't own one yet, so didn't know if I was being deceitful waving back, or rude by not.

If you're driving it you wave. No exceptions. Welcome aboard.
    Cheers, Billy.

I don't know about the big cities but out here in country SA you get a good wave from nearly all Defenders, mind you we also have the "raised index" to most traffic. ( too many toyota utes try to join in. It's best to ignore them!)

Around Adelaide it seems to be pretty good strike rate, nothing like country SA though! Best wave response I've seen yet has been out of the city for sure!!

Drove up to Bilpin today for lunch - saw three Defenders coming down the hill - 2 gave great waves and one gave no response.....

Funny the two that waved were darker 110's - the no response was a whiteish 130. Maybe only the coloured Defenders wave

Well, the white one would have been me! If it was right at the crossover where the new bridge ends....

Are you going to spell "Visable" correctly on the print run?

"Laminable" is the word you want I think.
