The grey 130 was in the car park at the shops. Should parked next to it and waited:D but I was in a hurry:(
Mrs hh:angel:
Had a "bromance" with a lovely green 90 with white top along Alexandra Parade, Princes Street Melbourne this afternoon. Got a few waves in as we passed one another going the same way lol :D
Waved to a couple of Defenders the other day, but nobody seemed interested...
Passed "the" blue Defender on the Lyell Highway again yesterday and no response to my hearty wave . It's Un-Australian! Trouble is , you see it coming towards you and get the elbow ready and then by the time you've committed yourself you realise it's Mr No Wave. Drat.
Cheers,
D
Driving home from Sydney yesterday I saw three other Defenders including a 300TDI 110 sort of a dark olive green with a full length rack, which i followed for some 8-10kms on the M4 (F4?) and James Rouse Drive (including being right next to at the lights) but not even a look of recognition.
No returned waves from the other two. A white puma 110 with roof rack and a Perentie which had to give way to us at roundabout, they just looked at us as though we were from another planet as we waved at them.. :(
That's a hard day in the Big Smoke. You get that sometimes. Probably all renting the for the Hol's.
Cook and I both waved at a dark 110 today full of gear and kids, junction of Ocean Reef Rd and Wanneroo Rd. No response possibly because we were in the D4. ;)
I just knew it was no good waving to lesser mortals........ :D
