Has anyone picked up on the line in a recent Ford Territory ad about other Ford Territoriacs giving each other a litttle wave?

Last time we lost the Land Rover "V" wave to the Valiant Charger and now the Defender wave has been stolen by the Territory!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I support the wave, first time owner of a defender and was very excited to be included in the wave. ( although when the first few came my way I thought why)
Now I make every effort to be the first.

They should explain the wave at the dealership when you buy a new Landy!

I drive both a RRC and a Puma, I wave for just about every Landy that I see, and like a lot of people are saying, current model Disco and RR owners don't seem to get it.

I've never got a wave back from a Sport - yet.

I wave at everyone but rarely get a return wave in my D4, Rangie classic owners wave at me when I'm in the classic, but most waves I get is from defender and series drivers when I'm driving the SIII.

Defender and series drivers are the best at it! Although am seeing more D2 drivers coming on board! My stepdaughter got her L's at Chissy and wanted to drive the D2, so after an lesson on controles and handling( it handles different to the Getz is why! ) I instructed her on the proper wave to give other Landies, From the look on her face I think I was about 2mins from being accosted by men in white coats! But the first defeer and she was dumbfounded! HaHaHa!

When I was a kid in the seventies ALL Jeeps waved to each other here in Australia.
As a kid i loved it.

Actually, come to think of it, all 4WD's waved to each other back then.
Real 4wd's were very much in the minority on the roads travelling around.

I found on my last outback trip I was waving at every 4x4 on the road, it seemed the norm, as soon as you hit civilization the waves diminished and was back to just LR waves, not too many people out there so I guess brand allegiance goes and it is back to all being on the one side..

Away from the highway here everyone waves/lifts a finger, whether they know you or not, although it seems everyone knows of me via the car
