Where's the Defender wave gone?

Dunno about other old 110 owners but I correct even the most well-meaning comment that my old 1984 110 is a defender, it is not, it is a just a 110, amongst the first of the dawning of the mighty era, the classic begins there... surely? [thumbsupbig] [biggrin]

Always wave to the "real" land rovers and only a small percentage are not returned. [bigwhistle]

Yes I admit I do call mine a 110 and correct people that call it a Defender, then I often go down the path of telling them why, the history bluh bluh.

A pet hate of mine though is calling any Series Land Rover a Defender! thats just wrong [tonguewink]

(If you are lucky enough to have a 90 we will call it a “90”)
The original Defender a “Defender” (90 or 110 added to the end)
And the new Defender “the Metrosexual Defender”
(Waiving to these is optional)

I call my 110 a county as i don't in any way shape or form want it to be categorised with the 'other' 110's (defenders/pumas)[emoji1]

They should. The screen, which they will all be addicted to, tells them it is every time they turn it on.

Went for a bit of a surf and sunburn at Freshy yesterday. Lost count of the waves, even light flashes, at about a dozen.[bigrolf]

Battery charged,started first go,aired up the tyres,it’s been sitting for 4 months...

After driving the other vehicles we have,it takes a while to remember to keep the revs up👍🏻
